Telemedicine
What is Telemedicine?
With the concern over the COVID-19 spread, we at 1-to-1 Pediatrics are rolling out new ways for our patients to obtain health care from our physicians and staff. Telemedicine allows patients to speak face-to-face, in a virtual environment, with your doctor to discuss medical concerns and symptoms. Depending on the type of problem, the physician may be able to diagnose and treat the condition through the virtual visit. In most cases, these visits are billed to and covered by commercial health insurance. (Copays, deductibles, and coinsurance will apply as usual.)
Telemedicine visits will be scheduled as appointments, the same way that normal office visits are done. Please call the office to schedule a telemedicine visit. Just prior to your appointment time, you may click on the following links to "check in" to the visit. You will then be entered into the queue to be seen.

Once your visit is completed, the visit will be documented in the medical chart as usual and prescriptions, tests, and referrals will be sent in the same way as an with in-office visit. We are hoping that patients make use of this modern way to communicate with our physicians and obtain high-quality care in a virtual environment.

Drop-in Telemedicine
Because of issues in regards to obtaining urgent care/advise on the weekends, we are occasionally offering "drop in" hours for telemedicine visits. We will post scheduled hours for weekends when the doctors will be available to provide telehealth visits for our existing patients. All you need to do is to click on the link above for the doctor who is available on the schedule. You will be placed in the "queue" to be seen. This will be on a "first come, first served" basis. As with all telemedicine visits, the visit will be documented in the patient's medical chart and health insurance will be appropriately billed. Copays, coinsurance, and deductibles will apply as usual with each individual insurance plan.
